A Strange Issue
Whenever I try to open a w3x map with any tool, it says it is not an archive.
Every w3x map.
I can provide screenshots if this would help.
Please help >.>
EDIT: Mpq Recover & MPQ View works. But thats it.

Re: A Strange Issue
Is it just by chance that the maps that you are trying to hack is all spazzed? Did you try opening it with other unprotected maps like MAFA?

Re: A Strange Issue
I'm pretty sure MPQ recover doesn't work on Spazzled maps.
Try your tools on a guest account and see if it works.

Re: A Strange Issue
Ive tried opening many different maps. I downloaded them all from the Fulfilled Requests anyways, and people would have had to take away corruption to hack.
Anyways i'm just making a tool for myself to extract files based on names (Names of which I know. Like war3map.j, etc) so I can use this until I figure out whats going on

What system? Try running as administrator if its windows 7/vista.
Also check the .dll in the map folders.. With no .dll, the tools wont work.

Re: A Strange Issue
These are the maps I used from w3e, along with a few others from my Download folder.

And yah, MPQ editor's problem was not the DLL.
