now the idea is a selected unit comes whidin range of footman and the footman is addet to a variable and it's given a mark on it's head "!" so the problem is the chosen unit goes away and I wann'a remove the footman from the var and remove the "!" mark but it's a problem so can someone help here's a test map to see what I need exactly

a "selected" unit?
as in it has the green circle around it?
what if it gets deselected?
mebe use a region?
or set a timer to see if the unit is in range? (IsUnitInRange[Loc])

and by selected I meen some unit that I chose to be "THE HERO"and a unit comes whidin range of that hero .....
