I've built it myself from small components. Basically an Atom 330 dualcore CPU overclocked to 2ghz, 4gb ram and an NVIDIA ION mainboard containing some geforce 9400m laptop gpu. It also has a small 2,5" 200gb HDD as system drive and a 2TB 3,5" which automatically spins down while idle for data storage. I've designed it to be able to decode FullHD video at the lowest possible power consumption. Last time I measured it, it was around 34 watts iirc, though that should be better now since I changed some components. - Probably 25 watt.

Im really impressed. Vegas, maybe you should ask Dekar to build you a pc like that one he has

Well unfortunately it maks for a crappy pickup line for girls. I can always use:

"Hey baby, wanna see my huuuge computer?"

or

"Hey girl, my video card is so huge I cant even fit it into my computer case"

And so mister computer man you. Do I need a different CPU? (Tell me quick, I'm going to don't click me one this morning hoping thats the problem) An amd2 is ok according to the instruction manual, but online somewhere i read that it also may need some other ram configuration.

OK, so I am almost up and runig. The problem was (and they dont tell you this in kindergarden) you have to instal ONE stick of ram only, and you have to see which slot it actually works. When it decides to POST, then change the RAM settings in the BIOS. I am by no means a RAM expert, so it took me about 4 tries to get the bios running with all 4 sticks.

Thank god I figured this out before I went shopping, although a newer faster CPU would have been a nice gift . What I did don't click me was a behemoth of a case at ARLT. Only cost me 32€. Now I have lots of room for all my goodies.

BTW Dekar, how are the hiways in your area? I am supposed to drive up to Waldbröl (close to BONN) on thursday, but I am not too sure if I want to be driving 30-40 kph for most of the drive. A look on the ADAC website shows it all looking pretty sad from würzburg to frankfurt and up.
