Well, what I planned to do was ask for suggestions on replacements, but then I already ordered one as I was writing the topic, and I just rewrote it and didn't consider that I could put it in the Away/Back topic instead.

Some 1TB 7200RPM 32MB Cache Seagate. Was on a sale for 50$, so I thought I might as well.

well at least its Seagate, not that its some Wal-Mart brand. If you hav a second Hdd you can dual boot to a second OS, and if the first Hdd goes belly up, then use Hirens boot disc to load the second OS. No time wasted offline.
