What is the best way to copy all units from one map to another? I copied the war3map.w3u file over, and sure enough, all the units appeared. But, all the units names were blank, and because I didn't copy spells over (can I?) , they all had a bunch of unknown spells.
How can I fix this?

Open the map in World Editor Unlimited and select the WEU Enhancer.exe
Though there select the second option, edit map and navigate to the last of the tabs called, Import/Export. There export all unit/item/ability/buff and upgrade settings. Pretty much thats what you need.

Alright, I'll try that. But I will probably have to re-deprotect the map and that will be a pain in the ass because I am so lazy.GeorgeMots wrote:Open the map in World Editor Unlimited and select the WEU Enhancer.exe

Well, it kinda worked. All units and abilities copied over, but everything has names like '// Units: uC45 (Walking Corpse), Name (Name)
Walking Corpse'. :\
Walking Corpse'. :\

First off, dont double post. Edit the post you already have.
@topic: well thats a way to make it work. Just disable the visibility of raw codes. I think the shortcut on object editor is CTRL or ALT + D

Yea, sorry about that double post, I am use to having them auto-merged. Also that doesn't exactly work, the in-game names still look that.GeorgeMots wrote:First off, dont double post. Edit the post you already have.

Im afraid you are gonna have to rewrite all those unless theres actually a trigger in the jass script that sorts things out.

Anyone know of a trigger that can modify a creep's name?

Well that didn't work. :\ All it did was make my map 1.25GB and fix nothing.GeorgeMots wrote:I just remembed that there is a way to remove those comments. Open Vexorian optiomizer and try clean comments and all those similar button which i cannot remember right now :p
