Is there a way to save a file with data that doesn't disappear after the game ends?
here's an example of what I want to become possible:
1) host game
2) run save data code in game
3) close warcraft
4) wait a while
5) run map
6) load data from file
anything as long as it can read and write on files.
save and load without long codes

you mean just.. ordinary save and load that you get by default when you look at the menu?

Re: save and load without long codes
I mean like save data. that is done internally when the map is running.
I want to save specific data only (hero,gold,etc...), but not the whole instance. Something like the fopen command of C++.

I think I'm asking for something different. The thread you said asked for an injection, while I am asking for possible codes for injection.naturesfury wrote:o.o read the other post....that other guy had the same issue...

I just learned about game caches and I think this almost solves it. I just want to know: 1) where is the GameCache saved and 2) will the game cache still be there when I turn off my computer?

Re: save and load without long codes
Thanks for the time. Though I still cant find the cache, I think I cant use it coz I wanted to use it in multiplayer... I guess there might really be no way to save in war3, otherwise people wouldnt be going through all the trouble of making encriptions for save/laod codes...
