So here is it goes.
1. Im want to convert my HDD from FAT32 to NTFS without formatting it. I found this guide over at microshit but i'd like to know what do you think. Will this format the drive?

Well,
With 1.
"After you convert a partition to NTFS, you cannot convert it back. If you want to use the FAT file system on the partition again, you'll need to reformat the partition, and this will erase all data on it."
most likely its going to format,

Re: Fat32 to NTFS and Deleting Vista folder
Im aware that if i want to revert it back id have to format it. Yet this is what i quote from microsoft.
Code: Select all
Converting to NTFS does not affect the data on the partition.

You might want to do what this page says, just in case, so you don't lose your Windows license.
To delete the Vista partition, just use Disk Management. Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Disk Management. Right-click the Vista partition and delete it, and then right-click the 7 partition, hit Extend, and tell it to use the maximum amount available, so 7 now has the entire hard drive. If the order of partitions was 7, Vista, then this will work. If it was Vista, 7, then you'll need to run Command Prompt and run these commands: diskpart, list volume (figure out which one is the 7 partition, based on size), select volume X (replace X with the 7 partition's number from the previous command), extend.
Assuming you want to use the entire hard drive for 7.
