"warcraft 3 edit" is the title of this forum. Not "warcraft 3 copy/paste" which is all cheat pack insertion is.

Come up with some neat new cheats at least if you insist on continuing. Or at least make a tool that automatically inserts a cheat pack so that you aren't wasting your time doing so. It would be pretty easy and would nullify part of my argument that you're wasting your time on ridiculously simple manual labor.

would add a blocking option to his optimizer -.o

the intention of our forum is more than just cheating,
it helps people to start working with jass modifying simple
lines with impressive result...
if you've got too much time, just take a look at shoppingmaul,
i do so from time to time and sserpyc is protecting his code system
using impressive constructs
and there are several maps blocking my cheatpack,
try inserting it to defiance orpg

That's actually really interesting. Searching around for map protection really hasn't yielded any good results, but I suppose it's because protection is only as good as its secret... If there were public tutorials on how to do the protection there would almost definitely be 10 times more tutorials on how to deprotect it.

Vexorian doesn't block xdep as is, I'm sure it would be easy enough to use xdep then have a seperate program you just drag and drop two files (one .j and your map) and have it inject the .j file into your map. I could write one pretty quick and vexorian wouldn't be able to block it unless it can also block all de-protection methods. Of course it would be more useful to have a simple interface for doing all of this with just one tool.

why should i use xdep? i didn't get this part... the only thing xdep is useful to is repairing the w3i file... -.-

such a jass inserter wouldn't be hard to do at all,
there is a linux shell utility for mpq extraction
i could use, text insertion is easy to realize using linux'
shell commands and that's all!
just a simple shell script triggered by php could do the job,
like user has to upload the file and a few seconds later he
get's a cheated download link...
maybe even with customizable cheat activator... (only for premium users )
a lot of people could do this... but is there a need for it?
it would take me at least a whole day to get this shit working properly,
so it would waste me a whole day...
and it wouldn't even break anti singleplayer stuff etc -.-
i don't need such a tool, even if i could build such a thing!

Wow, stfu if you don't have a brain. I think m2t's is right in some places, but wrong in some others. Ie, I haven't seen many people learn, it's all copy and paste, (I, too haven't learned for a while, but when I came here, I learned alot of GUI) but creating a tool to cheat, I just don't see the point of when you can manually do it.

Edit - And no, you gigantic faggot, Router, this isn't dedicated to just cheating maps, it's just something we do for fun. This site is dedicated to helping others learn GUI and JASS. So stfu if you don't know what the hell you're talking about.
