Anyone with xdep, half a brain, and someone's pre-packaged cheat pack can add cheats to a map.

Making other alterations are what takes skill.

I know, but it's one way that's as easy as double clicking a .exe and copy/pasting some shit in. Then reprotect if you care.

While I am happy it is popular... I just don't like that several people out there are going to be facing a player who is rigging the game for cheap thrills.

Maybe not, but my hope is that maybe people will be inspired to spend their time more productively and less destructively. Even if you are just producing the tools people use to break maps you're at least doing something more than wasting time... I can respect someone creating scripts... It's hard to respect someone who's copy/pasting someone else's pre-packaged work into someone else's map and ruining countless games for legit players in the process y'dig?

y'know if all your going to do is complain about the people who're hacking things, why did you bother coming here? it's very unlikly anything you say will make anyone do anything different, afterall this sites based around hacked maps so complaining about hacked maps on a map hacking site seems stupid... *correct me if i'm wrong with any of this, not you m2*
