A few of the commands do not show up when you do -list#. IE there is no list that has the command -add.

If you deprotect the map, you can open it in World Editor. From there, if you open the Object Editor and select the item tab, you can view the items as such, though you might have to change some setting in the View dropdown in the top menu.

I am a poor noob who enjoys playing this map when he has a spare moment to himself, and unfortunately play mostly alone. I was hoping to add stuff with the cheat codes, like more crafting materials so I can do upgrades. I have pm'ed the creator for the activator, but, is there a way to find the activator in a map using the world map editor or anything like that?

get jasscraft and mpgeditor, extract the .j file and look through for the activator
