Translating DotA Allstars (add information)

Hi to all!

I want to add information to description text. I tried to add information on some item descriptions (like gloves, recipes) in itemstrings.txt in MPQ Editor, but no success... Do you know what files need to modify?

You might need to Deprotect or get a Deprotected DotA's map.
Open it with JassNewGen or World Editor(In your warcraft 3 installed folder).

Not really as all the info presented on the map ingame is also in the MPQ files.

What goes wrong when you edit the files? or the info isn't there in the first place?
And try using MPQMaster... I usually have trouble using MPQEditor when it comes to adding files..

It's true, not necessary deprotect the map for do this.

When I modify the file (itemstrings.txt) and I add information in the description of an item, the file is saved but I open the map in Warcraft and I don't read nothing of information added before...

Look image on "Recipe Arcane Ring" square red.

You can't see in the description of item the "Test" word.

I tried to modify a lot of items but it doesn't work. I don't know why...

Probably there is a problem adding file into the map after modify it.
