How to cheat a muted item?

I think the -spawn item command will only spawn an muted item. That's why it doesn't work. Unless you are sure what you are talking about then it's ok.

Works in DotA, I've tried. But it's only linked to the person who spawned it, it seems. If I spawn some item and someone else picks it up, or if I spawn it for someone else, it becomes muted.

well, i tried -spawn then -owner but items can't change the "owning thing?"
i get triggers from 6.32 finding some muting triggers. well you now? that version is old and doesn't have the trigger.

-owner is for Unit, Building etc etc...Except Items...

Items cannot have owners; that's a custom script thing going on. -owner wouldn't work on it, since that uses built-in functions.

Logically, I would think that the items are linked to whoever bought it first, whether by player name or by player number, if that is the case, I do not think there is a way to cheat it.

However, if you're playing DotA...there's an easy way to cheat it.
Steps:
You must be the person who types in the modes; no HCL strings.
Type in pm after the modes. Ex: -apempm
Done .
(I dunno if Froggy removed PM or not, but pm is basically pooling mode. No one ever uses it, but it (should be) in there.)

Other than that, I don't think there's a way.

I think the owner of the item is determined by the health of the item.

I had looked into the item ownership trigger in DotA a long time ago. You may edit that trigger so that you can own any item you want. It is just like the way to edit triggers in a collided map.You have to edit the triggers in every maps and you can't make a trigger in a cp to do it. There is no easy way also to teach. So just use the gold command it solves the problem?

As alternative, you may look into item data for abilities avaible for item and just -add them to your hero. Most of people will barely notice that you are using a muted item succesfully.
Adding invisible item abilities to hero can be very usefull, since other players will never guess whats wrong, even if they use mh.
