How can I crash everyone in a game with fatal error?

I seen loads of people do this and im not so sure how they do it. I wanna know how they do it so i can prevent this from happening when they try to.

A common practice is to pick up a tome book with a non-hero unit.
Numerous cheat packs allow doing that too.
A program method of doing this (crash-hack) was fixed in 1.24E
