The first few times I started it, nothing would go to the monitor and my keyboard nor my mouse would initialize either. Then one time the monitor came on but the screen was garbled. So can someone tell me what mite be going bad on my computer. I'm kinda scared to turn computer off now. :'(Computer Help!!!

Computer Help!!!
My computer just scared me very bad. The first few times I started it, nothing would go to the monitor and my keyboard nor my mouse would initialize either. Then one time the monitor came on but the screen was garbled. So can someone tell me what mite be going bad on my computer. I'm kinda scared to turn computer off now. :'(

I'd just run some a-v/misc scans...
avg, nod32, ad-aware, spybot s+d, noadware, spyware doctor...
then, make sure everythings plugged in correctly, then restart, and defrag.
then, if things are still messed up, you know its a hardware issue.

I'm praying it's not a hardware issue lolz, don't really got that kinda money to spend rite now. It has been a while since i've defragged that's what i'm working on rite now delteing lots of stuff first though, ter goes my massive pron collection. 
Not it's all on disc muahaha
Edit: well after 4 hours of this and that I had a successful shutdown+turnon. Ima hope I just didn't get lucky. Though to be honest i'm going to think it's jstu gay quicktime i recently installed, quicktime loves to give me problems me+quicktime=pain in my ass, so I went and deleted its gay ass. Some more good news is I went from 10% frag to .05%.
