XVI32 (HELP PLEASE !)

Does anyone have a good tutorial or explanation for XVI32? Fatherspace told me to DL it because when I reform a map, I need to put in this thing that I forget what its called. :O

It was a w3c header.

I was rebuilding MPQs and the map couldnt be seen in the list, so I gave it to fatherspace and he helped me.

And from what I'm reading, it seems like what you needed to figure out was done..?
so I gave it to fatherspace and he helped me.

btw.. What don't you get? It's pretty easy.
FS told me how to use it too.

No, it wasn't resolved... fs did it for the one map, but I dont think fatherspace will spend 10 minutes of time for every map I want to hack adding a header. And no its not "pretty easy" if you dont know the values you're supposed to copy and such.

I'm "pretty sure" XVI32 works the same way for EVERY map, All you have to to do is replace some characters, maybe add/delete some spaces of the game name. But i don't mess with the rest of the header.

owner rebuild a map, so theres no header in it.....he created a new MPQ file
and i tested it, when i inserted the header, it shows on wc3 "could not find this map file on your computer", then i think we cant insert the header unless change the char address...... And if no header, the wc3 cant even read the map's title.....

If you delete any chars, or add any, it'll cause that problem. It has to be 522 (I think) for it to work.

Well it doesnt show up if I leave it alone. What am I supposed to do?
