You'd be looking for items by their name, and you can just type stuff to get to it. I see no real reason to change that.
And professions are all in the hero code, unless it's in both.

i dled both 1.14d and custom..but when im trying to play on single player..i cant see the map on my folder hence i pasted it in maps folder.

what should i do?

If you want full drop and -repick, play the custom
if you want a normal cheated map, pick the normal one.

the itemlist isnt easy to handle - even, when u use the first letter....
another helpful thing for the "profession" quests would be, if one could set a number to items like fishes, potions, scrolls. would that be hard to add to your programm?
what can you do to make professions easier? i guess they will be continued on 1.15 (which is officially in work since today).
