how on earth is it possible?

well lets put it this way.

when i was a beginner some maps mostly RPG had a protection of a kind that when u change smthing (probably in the war3map.j file) it detects it and crashing the game before u start it. (when u click on the map on the list of maps) so how is it possible? out of my knoledge triggers dont work before map started.. so how is it possible..

any ideas? =\ im out and i tried for 2 hours a bunch of different stuff...

Only thing that comes to mind is that the map has become corrupted in some manner.

Though, it's difficult to say what exactly has become corrupted.

If it crashes when you click on it then it's a script error.

My guess would be to try checking for existing triggers / variables, like the ones you're using.

E.G;

Several lines later..

Bad example.. imho.

Anything else would be either Attributes or .. haha I have no idea.

Oh, you can abuse Preload() and give it an invalid file to crash at map load screen.

Haha, that might actually work, who knows. Test it out and tell us.

However, I doubt some RPG mapmaker came up with such a protection.
