Due to the fact that my graphics card is messed up from the blue screen of death I got, I can't open wc3 to test this map. If my map doesn't work, post it here. I have done every deprot I know of though, so it should work. Trying to get my graphics card fixed asap. Sorry about that.

deproting a map is very simple... open map with mpqeditor... replace war3map.w3i from the basemapfiles folder. replace war3units.doo from the complexfiles folder. use x-deprotect on it. if you are new to using mpq editor pm me and ill try to teach you how. by the way, the tutorial I wrote is based around you knowing basics of MPQ\SFMPQ and warcraft 3 maps in general. Do not try to deprot a map if you've never opened the worldeditor before, because it will not turn out good =\

You have to test the map next time when you fulfill a request (deprotecting or hacking, doesn't matter)

The way I see it, you have two possibilities.
1- Its JASS, live with it
2- Delete all the scripts & start over.
Most likely the map was in JASS to begin with. And I don't know why its still in map requests.

The only way you're going to get the GUI triggers is to manually restore. Either get ready to waste several days on that, or learn JASS. I suggest the latter.

the way i have been explained.
all u do in GUI u can do in jass
but u cant do with GUI all u can do in jass.
jass is more customizable imo.. but its kinda complicated (for me..)
and like many programing languages... the best way to master jass is by trial and error..
try doing some simple stuff like when u start the map make it say "lol this is my 1st jass string lolol!"
then make it happen when u write smthing like "say my string"
then make it happen when smthing happens at the map like if ur hero dies etc...
