What's Google?

It's a program that scans a process' memory for values stored at whatever locations. Keeping with this thread's topic, you could scan for the value you know would be the one stored at the location for your gold. It'd return a bunch of memory locations (since more than one location will have that value) but you filter it out after a few more scans, changing or not changing values.

You can then change the values at that location to whatever you please, such as giving yourself 1,000,000 gold permanently.

It also has some more advanced features, but that's the gist of it.

yes.. i know what cheat engine is.. and belive it or not.. thats where i started learning cheating maps (at their forums there was like a request thread for cheating maps or smthings.. it was nice) tho i thought the gold / lumber and all the cool stuff are server sided thus u cant change them

They are, that was his point. That's why you can't use it on B.Net. You can use it on singleplayer, and it might work on LAN, if you're the one hosting.
