I'm just curious, but what are the bots for? Where it says "Who is online" then it has Adsense Bot, Google Bot so on ... I thought site owners didn't like bots. I remember a site where you had to prove you were human :lol: by answering the question of "Yes, I am a Human" and ticking the box.

Bots get specific privileges to browse the forums. They cannot post, and are only for trusted bots like Google, etc.

They index the site, so that posts and topics will appear in Google's search results, etc.

The other type of bot, that we don't like, is the type that automatically registers on sites and starts posting tons of spam links. Things like ReCaptcha are designed to be illegible to robots, and other things, such as questions, can often only be answered by a human.
