 Post subject: How to fry a maphacker.

I'm sick of maphackers playing in a certain map of mine. They drive me nuts. However, I do know that you can stop maphackers by making some kind of invalid model, which, when looked at, will crash the game.

What I was planning to do, is to make a section of the map unaccessible by anything, and make a trigger which stops people from blinking/far sighting it. And then, I would make a command to force people to look at the inaccessible zone, and create the invalid model for a split second. So, if they are maphacking, they crash, otherwise, nothing happens except "omg wtf my screen just went funny for a second".

However, I don't have the slightest clue how to create and destroy one of these "invalid models".

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Too lazy to upload it individually, but what you want can be found in the war3mapimported folder of my jass trigger pack (#2)

modelcrash.mdx or something, just use this and when you pan the camera make a trigger to kill it.

this is about exactly what I do for some of my amh map.

Eh someone tried to make BIG INVIS UNITS so they can't click if you mh....that was fucken stupid idea , you can easily click the not reveal invisible units on mh i was laughin my ass off infront of the maker

I found a nice little antimap hacking thing

You have to make 22 variables but you can just make a screen shot and make them.

Its all custom script so just copy all the triggers even the ones that done do anything (credits and so on)
The test one are not needed.
It works preaty good ive only had one small problem only did it once though.

this might not be very useful for mazes like the one im making, but also what if the person just activates the mh after the mher finder is over or maybe it can detect it and crash them?
