uninstall the mcafee firewall and disable windows firewall, there no need for them since you are behind a router which protects you anyway!
than go to your routers webinterface and try to forward the port ;)

id uninstall the firewall -.-
your router already got one, why do you/your dad need another one?
the point is i don't know anything about your firewall and w/o we would
know that it's a router problem!

Yeah but the thing is if you open the ports and dont have a firewall, hackers dont even need to get past a firewall. They can just take what they need from your computer

uhm... you don't get the point...
if the router firewall forwards the port and the software firewall blocks it,
you wont be able to host and the firewall is a additional security risk,
cause if the firewall has a vulnerability the hacker can use it to access
your pc! so additional security risks and no hosting is the way you prefer?
and if you allow warcraft in your firewall and be able to host, the firewall
doesn't protect you at all... if there's a vulnerability in warcraft the hacker
could take admin rights and hack you (and millions of other wc3 users)
so the software firewall gains no additional security!
if you fear hackers uninstall this thing and keep all ports on your router closed!

your problem is, that you don't know what your talking about...
but this way won't get you any further, so can i trash this thread?
