Title: Forbidden Perfection
Hey, I'm new to the whole thing so sorry if some of my questions will be too simple =\
Anywayz, I downloaded the cheated footman frenzy 4.2 proffessional version from this site but it seems to have lot of problems.
The team shops [creep, merc, items etc] that players got near their bases are almost empty [merc shop is ok, the other 2 are totally screwed]...
And plus, it has this common cheatpack [not sure about the name] and I wanna make my own and insert it ^.^
So my problem is:
I tried the guide by Xantan:
The Xdep deprotected it without any troubles, but when I try to open it with WE it pops this window every protected map has and closes WE.
Then I did the next steps with the original map - MPQrecover and MPQmaster.
It seemed to work properly, but when I got to the final step it asked me to go to xdep again and to put the files I got from MPQmaster in some folder that should've been created. Well, it wasn't created.
I'm not even sure what's the deal with this thing O.o
Any ideas? Ty vm in advance!

Aight so I set it to 0,
did all the steps in the guide and got a new "deprotected.w3x" map.
WE still won't open it =\
Does it mean it has some kind of protection xdep can't beat?
It's weird since I asked my friend to hack a newer version of footy and he made it quite easily O.o''

Try opening the "deprotected" map with MPQMaster, and replacing the war3map.w3i with a blank one (there's a bunch of things like that here: http://files.wc3edit.net/download/index ... plates.zip ).

Well it worked for one of the footy versions I got lol...

Map successfully deprotected [16 straight hours reading about jass and crap instead of just replacing that file DAMN ]

what you mean by there's a bunch of things like that here?
All the files in the templates need to use to replace the map mpq files for full deprotection?

I guess since there are diff types of protections, they corrupt diff files therefore you dont need to replace all the files cause then you will get a blank map .... so u need to find out which file is corrupted and replace it with a blank one.
Since Senethior suggested me to replace this specific file *.w3i it seems it's the most common protection...

Yeah. It has a bunch of files in it, but you should only need the .w3i; that's almost always the one affected. If you get the RandomGroupSet error, it's the .w3i.
