extracting item ids

so ive seen people paste raw item id lists in txt files for cheat requests, how do people get the ids to the .txt file like that without writing them manually? if i use the raw code view in the object editor, none of those ids are copypasta friendly so its a massive pain in the ass unless im missing something obvious here
