I dident quite know where to post this..so i thought tech support would be the most suitable place. Anyways, as it says lately ive been having a problem logging in. It just started happening yesterday. Everytime recently when i return to the site im logged off, which normally shouldent be a big deal. So i click login and put my name and pass in and click login. Then it takes me to the page saying that ive been sucessfuly logged in..and at the top it says Logout [ mmo.syre ] which is normal. But when i get redirected to the main page it says that im logged off..But stranger than that is, that at the bottom where it says what users are on, my name is there without me acually being logged in. It seems that clearing my cookies and refreshing the page is the only way to sucessfully get logged in now. Would blocking cookies on this site fix the problem or would it just make things worse? And if not what should i do to repair it? I dont have any recent protection programs that would block anything...as ive said it just started happening recently and ive had no problem with it in the past...Any ideas?

There's an option of the main forum page that says "Clear All Board Cookies"

Click that and see if you still have problems after they are cleared.

Ive tried that already, unfortunately that doesn't work. I have to clear my entire cookies.

Strange. Might be a browser problem. Try a different browser, (Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc).

It seems that it is the browser..i tried it on explorer and it worked fine..but ive been using firefox since the begining and havent had any problem logging onto here in the past. Even after updateing firefox it seems that the problem is still there.. (update was like 10 minutes ago so problem wasent the update itself). It seems that blocking cookies from here fixed the problem..just hope that doing so wont cause a different problem..

Your name is on the list because it only updates about every 5 mins(I think) and you actually logged in for a while then logged out again.

Ah..well that makes a lot of sense..lol..But that would mean that the site counted me as logged in, would cookies normally log someone off after redirecting them?..After getting logged in and staying logged after the redirect i dont get kicked off after posting or navigateing topics..How is the redirect from after logging in, any different from other ones besides the page..if im already counted as logged in at the redirect? ;x...Lol im starting to confuse myself now..

No, im using the same browser. I dident want to switch over to a different one so i stuck with firefox. When i went to the site on explorer, after using firefox for so long, i found out how faster firefox is and with more options. So i just blocked cookies from this site instead. That seems to work fine.

Try using opera, it's pretty good and you can prevent getting rickrolled!
