hmm if theres no option for it in WCEdit, it probably doesn't exist
However, you could probably trigger it (channeling, make 1 rain of fire, trigwait, another rain, etc for however many rains)

I know there is an option because I was playing a map that used a basic Rain of Fire spell
that had the waves coming down before the previous one landed and it didn't use any triggers.
So, there is an option in there the problem is with World Editor nothing explains itself very well
unless its a very basic concept such as missile speed. The problem with this is sometimes it could
be a setting that for other spells could control something radically different and this is why I have
come here seeking help.

I have seriously no idea what you're trying to say, (your post makes no sense), but as naturesfury said, you can't do it via default ability editing. How would you know that the ability you're thinking of was not trigger-based?

It's done in object editor. Find the skill (Neutral Hostile -> Heroes -> Rain of Fire, I think) and edit the duration/number of waves however you want. Speed = number of waves / duration, so shorter duration or more waves = faster.

I don't think that will work. The only thing under the spell for duration is not for how long the spell lasts, but how many seconds the DPS lasts after it hits someone. I've tried pretty much every option under the spell, even looking at the buffs and effects and ive yet to find a way to get the shards to come down faster besides using a trigger.

I found out myself that the "Casting Time" is the delay between waves so could a Mod/Admin please close this
as I have gotten what I needed.
