man.. i was playing defiance hacked and when i tried to change my level it said CHEAT DETECTED. QUIT CAMPAIGN.. wtF?

thats called cheat detection...
whoever hacked this map didnt actually do a full hack...sloppy job.

maybe someone will do it right, or maybe you just have to live with it.

if i liked defiance enough id do it right, as i just finished hacking probably the hardest anti-cheat map evar, dark invasion, but, since i like that map and others more than defi i probly wont

the stupid kid who made defi too screwed the whole thing up with the "ads" (wtf??? ads in a fucking wc map??? ... you kid get a job) - and the "sponsor classes" which, mostly, are either 1) stupid as ... or 2) way overpowered....

actually believe it or not dekar, if he was the one to do the hack here (which i tried as well so i know it doesnt fully work), did in fact do a sloppy job.

the anti cheat triggers were not all removed, and there's actually a few bugs in the hacked version that crash the game that are not in the original unhacked version (specific to a few classes skills...)

i also have had the problem of getting kicked from the game after a cheat trigger detection, just like other people here have complained about....the funny thing is, it also happens when you arent cheating, sometimes.

if someone hacks a map and doesnt remove every single remnant of cheat detection or even just plain kicking someone from the game, well then, the hack is sloppy and isnt worthy of being called a hack really.

'hacking' wc3 maps is one thing, i used to hack games for pirate releases, im sure many of you have games that i helped hack or know of the groups i worked with, so my standards are a bit more strict.

this one needs to be rehacked, and i think also there needs to be an internal edit to the mapworld because the final dungeon "ice dungeon" needs to allow access for a single person - as it is, it requires 3 people to be in the game to stand on beacons for the final doors to open just to get inside, so it defeats the purpose of having single player for this game because the final dungeon isnt accessible for a single player.

maybe i will do it afterall. though right now im not motivated enough to start, but if i do, i will do it all and finish it.

if you want a good defiance ( cheated ) you should get DXR version
