Oh, thank you for trying. But, if its not too much trouble, can you please deprotect this map.
Its called X Hero Siege 3.21, I know its not the newest one, but I like this one the best. What you do is pick a mode (random heros, double heros, extreme mode, normal mode) and pick a hero to defend a castle for so many rounds. After the final wave, you need to kill the final boss, Ghost, but to get to him, you have to kill more enemies and bosses. When you finally kill ghost, you win the game.

I disagree with that aero...there are a few things to do with an unprotected map:
1. You might want to see what the triggers look like
2. You might want to change some of the unit info or other stuff
3. You might want to change the terrain
Deprotecting maps isn't useless, and also, it wasn't just a matter of using x-dep - although I did use it in the end. You guys need to learn to depend less on an automated program, because its not always going to work, and in this case I needed to do some other work in order to deprotect it.

x-dep works about 99%
you cant view the triggers after using xdep anyway...
there is no need to deprotect maps... never needed to do this before!
you can have a look at terrain and unit data w/o deprotection
and you could use a map hack!

You didn't understand what I said dekar. Let me make this clear:
1.x-dep does "deprotect" the map, but even I could make it so even that isn't enough some things you have to fix yourself.
2.You CAN view the triggers after using x-dep, they are in jass, plus x-dep doesn't make them like that, its because of vexorian's map protector.
3.As I said before, there are uses for deprotecting maps, such as editing them...hmm never thought of that did you? Nah cheating is all we do here.
4.Yes you can look at them without it, but why do that and have the rest of the map in pieces when you could have the whole thing unprotected.
5.Map hacking = in-game, not easy editing the map when there are no tools to edit it with hmm.

you can edit any map without deprotection, too!Dekar wrote: you can have a look at terrain and unit data w/o deprotection
have a look at omgx's work at securegamers for example,
he took the terrain file out, edited it and gave it back!
every map i used with xdep incredibly increased in size,
this quite sucks!

ps: if you like to, just use the program, but i have no need for this!
and 'bout the point cheating would be the only thing we're doing here...
its just the thing most people like! (or hate...
