LOL Windows 7 and Vista are the same Operating systems, the only difference vista wasn't finished yet, When Microsoft was making vista the Windows fans became aggrovated that the OS was taking so damn long to be released so Microsoft said, "OK, we will release it early", and it was crap. In a press release Microsoft spokesman said, "Windows vista isn't finished its not going to be what everyone is Expecting or wanted from the next OS."
After releasing windows vista Microsoft continued work on vista to finish it, but renamed it Windows 7.

-Finished the Customization
-Finished the Security center they been trying to perfect since Windows ME

I would suggest getting windows 7 it will run your computer alot faster than vista is.
