i really don't understand you mapper... what's the point of whining around in our forum?
people will laugh at you, flame you and we won't stop hacking maps... this is just a waste of time!
and it's legal to german law since the protection isn't "technical efficient"!
(it would be "technical efficient" if there weren't any tools to open the map )
so yeah... have a nice stay in our forum

You might not stop, but telling me to stop trying to defend my map and my players is just as useless as me asking you to stop
I realize it's futile, and I'm not trying to start a fight or anything... Just trying to be civil for the most part and each time someone makes a new request I will simply request that they not insert cheats.
*shrug*
Hopefully one day the novelty of adding pre-packaged cheat packs will wear off... Unlikely, I know.

It is not against American Law either. The map is the sole property of Blizzard Entertainment, not the creator. Blizzard doesn't give a flying ... what happens to custom game maps.

I live in Canada... But I never ever said that it was against the law, or even insinuated it. I said it's against good sportsmanship and proper etiquette but to imply law would even matter...
Let's even pretend that it was against the law. What would I gain from suing you? Nothing... It would be a rediculous waste of money and the only people who would profit would be the lawyers even if I did win. I'm not selling my map (and couldn't even if I wanted to) so there is no monetary aspect to this and no real damages to my property or person.
A tad silly to bring up law when I completely agree that there isn't a case and even if there was a case it wouldn't be worth fighting and that's even assuming you lived in the same country as me. lol
So no, I have no intention of doing any more than simply and politely requesting no cheats whenever I see a new hacked version request. And even then you could easily ban my account which would stop that... But I don't want to cause trouble so I hope that I am not banned.

A beginer hacker, didnt' take long thanks to aeros tutorial, and cheatpack.
Can now get models from maps o_o.
Nothing is wrong with Canadians. M2 seems like a respectable guy, but it is just more fun to play vamps with cheats. It is priceless watching your ally flame a vampire after you type -"kill" on his beast wall he spent all game making. Cheap laugh, but very entertaining while the vampire is called the cheater and not me.
