If you change the filename to something else, ie. "DotA Allstars v6.53"
to "DotA Allstars v6.[1]53", then they won't see the picture while
they're downloading, they'll just see that they're downloading a new
map. That file renaming happens, too, they can't always be suspicious.
My excuse to them is that I tried to download from the site, but it was
going slow so I clicked again, it downloaded twice, and so it
automatically renamed one, and I happened to host the wrong one,
because you can't see filenames in the hosting game list.

will dota has its own web were to dl the lastest map as soon as it comes out most people already have it soo yea... they would its fake

Some people don't notice that there's a new version, some people just don't bother to download from the site, they assume that everyone else has and it's safe to download from someone, if they're allowing you to. Again, most people download from the site, but as long as they don't realize that they're downloading a fake version, it's fine. As long as you have an excuse for why they're downloading... Of course, if they're downloading the map and they can see the picture anyway, then they're going to realize. Which is why you name it something just like what your computer would if it downloaded two files at once. Add a [1] or a ~ in it, and they'll believe that story.
