If you want to get link's sword, first you get an ocarina, throw it into the pool of water at the bottom creep zone, and say no when the fairy prompts a yes/no question. Then go to the grave with a patch of flowers surrounded by trees, and play the Song of Time. (If I'm not mistaken, to play the song, you hit right, esc, down, right, esc, down, right and down being the arrow keys)
