How to change a Map Name?

if you want all the File 00000xx and whatnot removed, use a better listfile.
The werid filenames appear because the mpq editor doesn't know what the file name is
So, if you use a better listfile, you have a more comprehensive list of possible names of the files

To get a better listfile, you can:
1) request it
2) use w3mpqfns
3) try mpq recover
4) look in the .j file to see if any are listed
5) name breaker (annoyingly long =/)
6) guess o.o

anyway, i gave u like 6 options
1) self explanatory
2) search for it
3) search for it
4) self explanatory (if u dont no JASS, skip this)
5) search for it (it's in mpqeditor)
6) need i say more?

im triying to change Dota 6.72f to another thing called... IDK. (Dota revamp??? LOL)
so im triying to figure it out how to change everithing (also triying to Donwload newgen) to make a fake map about it
if you can help me it would be cool!

but you missed a couple of spots

look in the war3map.wts file
and it's the first line (string 5000)

look in the war3mapSkin.txt
search for UPKEEP_NONE=v6.72f
and change the version

Don't forget to hex edit the map it self. This question has been answered like 100 times. Search the next time.

yea i downloaded his map and checked it out (epicwar link is the link to the edited map)
and he already did that
