thats a great idea
I was thinking to have something like a limit breaker in Twilight but not based on damage. Just the skill part, so at max level you can learn some nice abilities. And have two jobs, ex: your a fighter, but craffing is your secondary job so you can make gems and such.
What might make a good max level?
What do you look for in an ORPG?

Re: What do you look for in an ORPG?
For a max level there are about two main things that you want to keep in mind when deciding. First is skills, and then experience.
When i said skills, are you planning on just having 5 or so main ones or are you going to use a spellbook with a large amount, and how far each of them level up. You want to find a balance with the skills and the level cap so that you dont run out of skills for a really high cap, but still have a number of spells to keep it interesting later in the game. For only a few skills, make them change a bit when they level up..not just get more powerful, that way the player has a little something more to look forward to when he does level up.
For experience, you want to think hard about how much each creep gives. If your planning on having the creeps give higher experience, then set the cap higher, and vice versa for lower experience. You dont want to level up too fast and already be near the end by just farming in the first couple areas, and you wouldn't want to have the player grind constantly to try to get a higher level. Again, try to find a good balance between the two.
If the experience and skills are well balanced, even a level of 30 or so would be good enough for a good game. It all depends on how you want this to develop.

As for the bosses.. Just giving it 9999 strength doesn't cut it.
Custom script them all the way!

You should always look to make the RPG fairly difficult in the whole, but not so difficult that people will just give up playing. A difficult rpg will keep peoples attention for longer.

Yeah, like twilight is so easy to level up, but hopefully mine, being pvp orientated, will keep people attention for a long time

I LIKE THE MAX LVL AS 1337 and make secret quests only few people know how to do
95% Percent of teens would have a breakdown if Hannah Montana was standing on the edge of a tower, ready to jump. Copy and paste this if you're part of the 5% yelling "Jump, Bitch!!!

Where is the fun in that, all it takes is for one person to see it, and then crack the map to figure out how to do it. If you don't have many secrets not many people will feel the need to fake the versions, the map, yadayada. 1337 as a max level isn't a good idea, it's just silly, I'd stick with maybe 150 being the max, and make sure it takes a fair bit of effort to get there.
