YES ! U can modify a lot of things and making it collided and enjoy it WITHOUT desync.

I call that cache modifying, but it is not good to spread that around as it will be harder for hackers to hack in the future.

Ps: Ur doom thingy was 100% possible to do, u gain like 7000 gold for each creep, look at fai's map.

so i can edit skills as i wish? all skills. i can even make a skill that just adds gold?

i tried to look at the .J file. where can i find the skills? or is it in another place?

edit: i edited some skills but they are rly hard to find :S its not like u press CTRL F and put in the name... its by codes or smthing... how can i find the specific skills i need without going into the .j file and look at 40k lines of cmds?

If you open the map with RMPQEx, you can click Dump object data..., choose Abilities, and click OK. It will make a text file on your desktop with information about all the abilities in the map. You can open it, use Ctrl+F to find the ability you're looking for, and then find its rawcode. You should be able to find the skill easier by searching for the rawcode in the war3map.j.

Another way is to extract the war3map.w3a, make a new map in WE, open the Object Editor, switch to the Abilities tab, File, Import Custom Ability Data..., find the extracted war3map.w3a. Then, you can find the skill you want, and its rawcodes. If you can't see rawcodes, I believe it's an option under the View menu.

well i followd this tut as well. still not getting much. the only skills that are marked in PINK as in for CHANGED are evasion and atribut bonus.

No. You have made a wrong conclusion. You can edit a lot of stuff doesn't mean you can edit everything. Don't waste your time on editing anything without knowing how to avoid desync. Collided map works in a complete different way.

Ok, i have 1-2 post but i'm no new comer. I was at securegamer, until Xantan (or Dekar? i'm confuse with this 2) opened this forum. I joined and just stayed passive.

Now i have a lot of interest in cache modifying so i think i'll stay active for a while =P

all right. Senathior , have you learned already how to make a collided map? If you do would you please make for them on the future versions?
I have a lot of personnel problems recently I don't think I could have anytime to make it for public users.

Don't take JASS codes from China's dota map. There are a lot of BJs and slow functions which will cause a lot of desync. lol
