Synchronization is only useful in multiplayer, if you even want to call it useful.
It works mediocre at best.
"\n" is a one character escape sequence.
0x0D is a carriage return (1 character) and warcraft 3 will process it as if it were 0x0D0A.
0x0D0A is a carriage return + line feed (2 characters) and warcraft will process it as 0x0D0A.
If you're on a windows OS, pressing enter will give you 0x0D0A (2 characters).
If you use NewGen world editor, it will replace 0x0D0A with "\n".
