Map Optimizing [QUESTION]

I already have a map deprotected and I already have the cheats in it. It works perfectly. When I try to optimize it with vexorian's program or the widgetizer: vexorian's optimizer makes my map totally crash, the widgetizer returns my edited stuff in the war3mapskin.txt.. which means that everything i have done in that file returns to normal.. what should i do to optimize my map..

just uncheck most options, you only want map optimizations, nothing with scripts... should be fine then.

Did you use xdep? If you did use xdep insted of manually editing the .j script or manaully editing the object editor by extracting/reimporting....
Then vexorian and other protection/optimization programs will cause your map to malfunction

I emailed the dude abaout the exact same thing last year. Basically, you cannot optimize a deprotected map. I was screwing up several pieces of text displayed, and not sure what else could have been screwed up with triggers.
I use now, Heavylocker 2.7 to do the trick quite nicely.

Thank you for your fast replies..
[Problem Solved]
1. I extracted all needed files from the deprotected edited map.
a. war3map.j
b. war3map.wts
c. war3mapSkin.txt
d. war3mapPreview.tga
2. I opened the original map and imported these files.
3. Not satisfied with the size, I optimized it using the Widgetizer 1.7
4. It was all good except for one file, so i reimported the war3mapSkin.txt on the map
5. Shocking,The size was 43685 bytes smaller than the original file.
6. I added the bytes to the edited map so that it would have the same size as the original.
7. Lastly, I changed the date as the same as the original modified date, using nirsoft's utility.
Thank you folks,

Vexorian's Map Optimizer 4.0 > HeavyLock
It also makes your map faster because it renames functions
