Help with RawCode Cleaner

I tried to use raw code cleaner on a map to clean all the item id's in the code up as they are currently hexadecimal and it would have made it easier to use however it seems like by doing so i caused a issue of

is the un-hexadecimal file not supposed to be used and only used to reference line numbers?

the raw code cleaner is for item lists that you extract from games, its not supposed to use on the game itself.

well the thing is i fond one for the code and thats why im curious if its just meant to be used for refrencing lines as it takes all hexadecimal in the code and makes it back to text for like item ids etc
