Name activator and String activator

whats the Difference between name activator and string activator?
String activator is more like a password. You write a command like -cheats and the cheats are enabled for you.
A name activator means that the cheat-pack will automaticly be activated for the players with name activator.
So if the name activator is Haxorico, and my in-game name is Haxorico, I don't need to write the password -cheats.
