PHP Error in apache [FIXED]

I've installed apache2 from the download on their site, compiled from source.

The PHP download from their site didn't have a makefile or something like that, so I got it through aptitude as php5-mysql.

Instead of describing the trouble, just go here and try logging in with that form.

Any ideas why that happens? I installed both things, rebooted this machine, and it's still screwed.

Also, I'm on Ubuntu 9.10

php5-mysql is only the package which provides MySQL for PHP. You might want to try installing libapache2-mod-php5. If that doesn't work, then you'll probably have to edit the modules of Apache yourself. Why didn't you just install apache from the repository?
