I was working on some stuff for adding code to maps, and I used JJCP as a test. The default activator is "-cheats" with 2 spaces after, but you can change the activator by creating a file in the same folder called "act.txt" with the activator in, with or without the leading hyphen.

Usage: Drop a map on this program

Limitations: Doesn't work on corrupted maps (I dunno what extent of corruption messes it up), but should be fine with simple header corruption.

Hopefully this will keep you all happy until Pyro gets back and releases PCI3.

EDIT: Now with batch jobs and error messages. For batch jobs, just drop multiple files on the program.

Yeah, exactly as it is in the other thread. Except with a message on activation that says it was cheated with this tool, to spread awareness.

SpacePacker can bypass corruption, i think. However, it increase the maps' size like 0.50mb .

Maybe a ... leak? xD

Now that we have 1.24b out, it doesn't really matter considering that the max size is now 6 mb

The program should flush and compact the archive after inserting cheats. I'm thinking it may be a bug in MpqLib or something.

Maybe try running it through Vexorian's optimizer if it's increasing too much.

I remember that a lot of our automatic tools have had problems with compacting at first. The original versions of PCI wouldn't compact, and I think ACP 2 had an issue with that for a time, too (maybe?).
