This is perhaps the most single useful tool you'll ever come across if you EVER want to use custom models. Taken from the HiveWorkshop, so no credits go to me. I just wanted to post it here so people find it easier, as it is one of my favorite tools. Unfortunately, the author's name has been lost to time, so I have no idea who created it.

Description: This program provides a faster way to change texture paths
in MDXs, or to just view them. Just click on the .exe, and open the .mdx, and the textures will be there. However, not all textures are you'll actually be able to import, as some textures are merged, so if you're missing one, don't fret. To use this program on an MDX quickly, right click on an MDX, go to 'Open with', click 'Browse...' and find the program. After that, set as, "Always use this program on this type of file", and ta-dah! Double click on any .mdx, and it will automatically open it and show the paths.

You have no idea how much sanity and time this tool has saved.
