It has been for a while that I get random blue screens that are forcing me to reset the computer. Now I got a new a SSD (a 2nd 120GB) so I decided it is a good chance to try and mess around with RAID.
I decided to see go on Raid 0 to get more capacity on my windows drive + speed. I can always format the drive so if one of the drive will fall, I have regualr backups for a storage drive, so that will be okay.
Ever since then (two weeks ago) I had constant BSOD. They seem to appear at random, some times it is when I watch a youtube video, and other times, while watching my own videos.
I thought it might be a case of a virus, so I unplugged all my hdds, and only left one SSD plugged in (after canceling the RAID 0). The new SSD. I installed a fresh copy of windows 7 on that, and still I got BSOD.
I then figured, it has to be some kind of hardware failure, but what kind? Is it my CPU getting too hot? I made sure the bios was set to default and all overclocks gone, yet it still happens.
My only choice (as I see it) is to LEAVE windows and go for linux.. Problem is.. This PC is ment for gaming
