How do you change the name of a map?

I used search and found a topic and it helped me a bit, but first i didn't want to necro it, and im still lost.

I managed to change the map name in my map lists ingame, but the name above the preview pic is the same, how can i change THAT name? I opened .w3i and the .wts in a hex editor but i dont see anything

You have to open the map itself with a hex editor. The w3x file and edit it.

Just drop the map into a hex editor if thats more clear.
