Re: SonofaBITCH
If you reopened Firefox, it would have offered to restore the tabs from your last session. When it restored said tabs, it would also have restored any text entered into fields on them.

Opera keeps all the tabs you had open last session open when you start it up. If a page caused a crash, it'll ALWAYS ask if you want to start with no tabs, or with the same tabs, (incase of a completely random error).

Normally, firefox worked fine, then I installed a bunch of new add-ons and i'm too lazy to fix the problem.

Firefox does the same thing. If you're on 3.5.x (I'm not sure if this is new to 3.5.2; I'm pretty sure it was here in 3.5.1 and possibly just 3.5, too), when you reopen it after a crash, it lists all of your tabs and lets you select which ones to restore, if one particular one failed. Previously, it only let you choose to start a new session, or to restore all of them, and you could hopefully kill the offending tabs before they loaded and crashed it.Bartimaeus wrote:Opera keeps all the tabs you had open last session open when you start it up. Yes, but Opera ALWAYS keeps them open, even if it didn't crash.Senethior459 wrote:Firefox does the same thing. If you're done with your session, and you don't want to have the tabs open upon start up, you HAVE to close them manually, rather than just hitting X on the entire program. Annoying at times, good at others.

Firefox normally restores tabs from a crash.
Firefox is more advanced than opera, due to it being more popular and having more add-ons.

1. Yes, I know. I've acknowledged that a few times now. All I said was that Opera kept open your tabs from your last session all the time, even if you didn't have a crash. It never closes down a tab you didn't close down, even if you close the program.vRisen wrote:Firefox normally restores tabs from a crash.

2. I really doubt that. How is having more add-ons, (ad-block that Opera already has implemented), and being more popular a sign of being more technically advanced, rather than just a choice of preference?

It has been proven that most hackers and twilight persons use Opera - so better don't!
