"Clearly some "supporters of Jesus" are not truly supporting Jesus. I call those people delusional. Forgiveness was the message of Christ. Jesus ate and drank with sinners and tax collectors, trying to communicate the truth to them through love. If a nation does not want to follow what scripture says about homosexuality, I say that a true Christian continues to eat and drink with those "sinners", trying to show them the truth through love, not through murder and terrorism.
How blind some people are about such a "popular" religion! Christ rebuked those who claimed to be followers but did not actually follow. I would likewise rebuke these so-called "Christians" if I could. If someone sins, it is not my place to punish and judge them. That is God's place. If a nation decides to support what scripture says is sinful, I will try to love that nation even more, not harm it further. The apostle Paul shares about who Christians are in charge of to judge in 1 Corinthians 5:12-13, "What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. 'Expel the wicked man from among you.'" If I am going to rebuke, it will be my fellow Christians, who are subscribing to God's commands, and I will not rebuke people who do not subscribe to God's commands or even believe in Him.
Some "Christians" just use Christianity as an excuse to force their will upon others. That is not God's will, however, as His will is love and redemption, patience and joy beyond circumstances in Christ."
Written by Blank of the Obsidian Forums. About the only post worth reading on that entire site. Man, if all Christians were like this, I doubt they'd be as hated as they are now. It kind of sucks how small of a fraction of Christians think like this. I wish I would think more like that.

They don't think like that, which is why so many people are atheist. Because the people here:
http://www.reddit.com/r/atheism/
and here:
http://www.richarddawkins.net/
are more rational. Religion doesn't make sense.
I recommend that you read The God Delusion. It's a great book.

Re: Christians
I was thinking why Bart suddenly improves that much in English he can write such a beuatiful article then I read this:
Anyway it's a nice piece of article showing how many fake Christians there are now!
Once there was a begglar lying on the entrance of my church. No one seemed to care. I was planning to don't click me him some food after my duty is off. (choir training was still on)
So many chritians saw him they don't give a shit. At last some non-believers gave him food. I was so ashamed of myself and my so-called christian's friends.
So I hope it's ok we live in a planet that everyone has their own beliefs.

Make sense to those who believes? I saw Jesus with my own eyes once. It doesn't make sense to others it makes sense to me.Senethior459 wrote:Religion doesn't make sense.

Re: Christians
Hey, my English great. Look who just spelled beggar, "begglar", eh?
You also spelled Christians, "chritians"...
This wasn't meant to be an Atheist vs. Christian topic. It was meant to be a, "I wish Christians would actually be Christians" topic.

Re: Christians
yeah. I didn't say I was good in English.
It's just very obvious that article contains American-English, which is not your or my style.

And Bart is american

In Germany I don't give hobos anything. They get more than enough from the government and that they're living on the street only proves they're wasting all their money for alcohol.
