Why are you trying to unhex SOmj2hm16 in 2019? Just use the newest Ladik's MPQ Editor and you should be fine. lol.

For those who try to break according to the instructions, after calculating FROM what the Windows shows, we remove 512 (we are fucked by the calculation of the size of the Windows), I checked on the test map clean, so use it.
