I managed to enable singleplayer on The Black Road, but there's still a check to make sure there's more than one player. How do I get past that?

You have to do alot of stuff to SP tbr. Its quite annoying.

I did an SP of that a while before. You can look in the fulfilled.
Pretty much, the anti SP crashes you and defeats you, and tends to pwn the people who just delete the defeat.
Youll see a loop with an exitwhen like "exitwhen x=8" and it crashes it. So set x=8 and it wont crash you. Thats what I did.
I did this purely from memory, so there may be flaws.

completley worthless to me. I can't do any of them, seeing as there's either an error with the things you give me, or in MPQmaster for adding the cheatpack, when you open it up there isn't any "scripts" in it. Screw it. Either COT rpg has things that don't let you do this or I just suck at it. Unless you want to try.

Talked with DarkCHaos earlier (Creator of CoT (Flames of CHaos editions). He said he didn't even bothered to hide the SP and such, but don't worry. I couldn't get it right either :P

Open the map with MPQMaster or Ladik's MPQ Editor, replace war3map.w3i with a blank one from the Deprotection Templates (<-- that's a link), and try again.
