THIS is a battle between Wii, Xbox360 and Playstation3 to see which is the next newest generation video game console.. and this topic was made because I am bored, btw.

Deadline: Till next year 1st January 2009

And.. I know, this poll had been taken long time ago, and I am not sure whether it has on this forum, but there sure has at another forum/website. Nintendo Wii won the champion but I just want to see who thinks otherwise or your own personal opinions. And please reason yourself for your choices

Eg. I chose Nintendo Wii because out of these 3 game consoles, it is the only 1 that when your playing, your butt won't be glued onto the sofa.

And if you have Wii, please tell me, I wanna add your friend code or maybe we can play Super Smash Bros. Brawls or Mario Kart Wii

And now the battle begins!!!!!!!

I pick Xbox360 since it has BK&NB, and Fable 2.

i choose xbox 360 because on ps3 you have to install everything... and the graphic quality isn't much better at all

It's a shame I have both a Wii and a PS3, as I also had a Gamecube and PS2.....Kinda says something here...
Check out the diference between a PS3 and XBox 360 on a reliable unpartialed website. You'll see what the best system is. BTW Wii loses, it still runs off regular DVD's(No HD), and PS3 is close with sixaxis to the moving remote bit.

If u wanna pin point "Which is the best next gen console?" u have to clarify the word "BEST" is best in what category.
In term of graphic: i dont c much different between PS3 and 360, from "PLAYER" perspective, not technician. (forget about Wii)
In term of presentation: I think i have to go for Wii. (Super Smash Bros Brawl is awesome)
In term of marketing life span: I cant tell really bcuz these consoles market havnt come any closer to its peak yet. (gotta wait mayb another 2 years i would say)

Over All: I give Wii 7/10
Xbox 360 8/10
PS3 9/10

I dont have Wii neither 360 but I do have PS3 and I played Wii (SSBB ofcoz) and Xbox 360 (Halo 3, GoW) so i know xactly what is the strongest point of each console.
The funny thing is, my friend who has Wii alway says Wii is better than any when on the other side, my friend who has 360 alway says 360 is da best.
So, it just a stupid battle of fanboy and a matter opinion, really.

NOTE: Personally, I love PC than any other.

EDIT: I think FAR CRY 2 will define PS3 and 360 in term of graphic and CPU strength. We will see who win.

Xbox360 is strongest in system specs, but unfortunately, lacks unique games. PS3 has most of the good core games. Wii has a control gimick which I personally hate, but most people like, but it has what, only two or three core games in its entire library?

If we could combine them all into a PSWi360, it would be leet,

There is no way 360 can even come close to PS3 in performance. BTW, I recently played Army of Two on 360 and noticed the game loads in tons of places I never had a problem with it doing that on my PS3
