That's not gMail? Every name I want is taken at gMail, and I simply cannot do with a lesser name.

Everyone I've told to try Gmail has said it's much better than the crap (AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) they switched from. I suggest just finding a name that's not exactly what you want for Gmail, rather than using something else and possibly ending up switching to Gmail anyway at a later time.

That, or you could bug Dekar until he gives you an @wc3edit.net email address, if he still does those.

Out of all the free services, Gmail is by far the best. Hotmail is a far lesser second, but I'd advise just taking an address you don't quite like at Gmail. You can always open up an account on Hotmail or Yahoo with the address you do want, enable POP forwarding, and set up Gmail to receive your other account's email and allow you to reply with that address, too-all the benefits of Gmail with the account name of another site!

You can bet I didnt find "[email protected]". It wasnt easy to find a nice variant of it either. I had special initials for my name as a subcontractor, and those put together with "vegas" is what I have had to settle with. It has been my email name for around 10 years. (Gmail, yahoo, and others).
